250 grams of sour powder
50 milliliters of oil
150 milliliters of water
1 medium egg
50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
½ tablespoon of salt
frying oil
How to make Fried Sour Sprinkle Biscuits that won't sneeze:
In a saucepan over medium heat, boil water, oil and salt.
Tip: Heat these ingredients only until boiling, it doesn't need to boil for a long time.
In a bowl, mix this hot liquid with the sour powder to scald it. Mix everything with the help of a spatula, so as not to burn yourself.
When this sprinkle dough has warmed up, add the beaten egg and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well until the dough is smooth.
Transfer the dough to a bench and work the dough, kneading it for a few minutes. It should be soft and smooth, like cheese dough.
Tip: If necessary, add a little more sour flour until the dough is easy to shape.
Take portions of the dough, make thin rolls and cut into small pieces. Model as you wish.
Tip: Remember that when frying, the cookies will increase in volume.
Now the secret to getting a sprinkles biscuit that doesn't sneeze: when frying, place the biscuits in lukewarm oil (heated only for 1 minute over medium heat). Reduce to low heat and allow cookies to fry until lightly browned.
As they fry, the biscuits will inflate and rise in the oil. From time to time, turn them over with a slotted spoon so that they fry evenly.
Tip: Wait for the oil to warm to fry the rest of the cookies, thus preventing the oil from being too hot and starting to sneeze.
When they are golden, drain the cookies and let them dry a little on the paper towel.
Your sour sprinkle cookies are now ready for you to enjoy and can be stored in jars or bags (for food) when they are cold, if you prefer to eat them later! Bon appetit and let us know in the comments what you think of this recipe.
